I like the first part. Men who just do things because they think they're more impressive because of it have the opposite effect, and the driving tip is good. I think the second tip is good except I'd personally use a different example such as if you're driving in a car and someone cuts you off, you stay calm and don't complain or in other words, not sweating the small stuff. Being non-chalant is good for the beginning, but if I accidentally cancel, I really would like to see an initiative to re-schedule (maybe not the same night, but soon-ish).
